Below you’ll find hotel recommendations near the venue, ferry schedules, and other routes and considerations.

This is just a short 5-minute shuttle to the venue, and we’ll plan to after-party at the casino!

We recommend reserving ASAP as they’ll book up quickly. (We do not have a room block).

Other Options in the Area

Fairfield Inn & Suites Poulsbo – about 15 minutes from the venue; it seems like they have rooms on short notice, so this one is likely not as urgent.

Airbnb – a few options including houses for large groups.

Shuttle Service: Shuttle will be provided on the day of the ceremony, to and from the Clearwater Resort and the venue.

Travel by sea

There are two viable ferry routes: downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island, or Edmonds to Kingston (about 30 minutes north of Seattle). Once you’re across, the venue is another 20-minute drive from either terminal. The boat ride is around 30 minutes and is an iconic experience — don’t miss the outdoor viewing decks!

  • The ferry is first-come, first-served for drive-ons and will have a line. We encourage anyone who can to head across on Friday to eliminate stress on wedding day (it’s a great place to spend a day – see Exploring the Area tab). For the out-of-towners we do recommend renting a car to take advantage of sightseeing!

  • Plan to get in line at least 1-1.5 hours prior to the departure time you’re after. Take advantage of your jetlag – early morning lines are much more manageable. If the boat is full, just stay in line for the next. You can see your place in line in real time at the link here.

Travel by land

The ferry is not the only way to get to the venue — you can drive directly there by taking I-5 through Tacoma, and up and around. From downtown Seattle it’s a 1.5-hour drive (without traffic). The property will have plenty of available parking. We’ll announce the venue’s exact address when sending formal invitations.
